I have had these shoes for approx 18 months now. I really like them, but can see how they wouldn’t be for everyone. I come from the background of Doc Martens kitchen boot, and even Vans slip-on type shoes. This is the perfect medium for me. They do make an odd squeky sound sometimes when walking, but I’ve learned to get past it because of the comfort and durability these offer. The non-slip bottoms haven’t worn away yet, and the insole is still comfortable. The only thing going off the rails is the threads on either side of the shoe are starting to come loose, but I know that I pivot hard on the ball of my foot, therefore stretching my shoes farther than ‘normal’. I love these shoes. They fit exactly like a sneaker, and they definitely move WITH you, not against you, and you never feel like you’re going to slip out of them. 5 stars. I’m about to buy new outsoles in a few minutes actually. I love that you can buy the parts of the shoe seperately and not blow $130 all over again if you don’t need to. After 18 months of (unpadded stats here, chefs) 10-12 hour days running around outside, inside, tile floors, concrete, mud, rocks, and ice and snow, these shoes have survived it all. Highly recommend.

The shoes are very comfortable and stylish. It's going to take a few wears to break them in, but the size is true to size. I highly recommend MISE.

I've been a bartender for almost a decade and I can't believe it took me this long to buy a pair of shoes that was actually made for people who work on their feet all day. Bartenders, put away your Docs and get a pair of these. At last, my feet, knees, and back are no longer in pain! Like a clog but with extra support thanks to the removable insole. I've only worked a few shifts in them but I can tell my Mise and I are going to be very happy together. Worth the price for the investment in your comfort!
